pdfvelo started from a simple frustration: most "free" PDF tools online quietly upload your documents to a server, then ask you to pay before letting you download the result. We built something else.
Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Your PDF or image is read, processed, and rebuilt using JavaScript running on your own device — it's never sent anywhere. That means there's no server-side bottleneck, no waiting on uploads, and nothing for a third party to ever see.
There's also no account wall. You don't need to sign up, verify an email, or hit a download paywall after the work is already done. If a tool can run in your browser, it should be free to use, full stop.
The toolkit is intentionally focused: merging PDFs, splitting or extracting pages, compressing file size, converting images into PDFs, and rotating pages. Each one is built to do its one job well, with no clutter around it.
